An Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) interacts with a young mother during a home visit. ASHAs are trained and supported by Pathfinder International to address special needs of young mothers, including family planning and healthy birth spacing, to protect maternal health. Home visits by ASHAs are often the only family planning services young mothers receive.
