Many members of the South African Domestic Service and Allied Workers Union (SADSAWU) gathered at a Saturday meeting to talk about problems with their employers, ranging from underpayment, unpaid overtime, and high charges for accommodations. The union offers guidance to its more than 8,000 members, tries to negotiate with employers, and helps workers make complaints to the labour board.
